It gradually happened but for a while we didn’t notice it until we can’t wear some of our favorite clothes anymore. This is the result of junk food, disorderly eating habits and lack of exercise. All of a sudden we panic because we don’t want to accept our body the way it is. And we start to look for quick solutions on the internet. We end up running into the latest dieting craze that can make anybody slim fast and improve the quality of life too. We want a quick fix and lose an incredible number of pounds in just a few days or weeks.

It is big mistake to pick one these quick fix diets. The “lose weight instantly” diets are based mostly on losing body water. You will put the weight right back with just drinking a couple glasses of water. You have to lose body fat not water. Good diets need time to work for you. Losing a pound a week is a good rate. Losing three pounds probably sounds better but it’s not healthy. If you lose more than two pounds per week you probably will lose muscle tissues. Slow diets will make sure that you only lose body fat.

The biggest problem with the quick weight loss plans is that they can turn into a vicious circle. The more muscles you have, the faster the metabolism and only little food intake will stored as fat. The fad diet will make you lose muscle tissues, then your metabolism slows down and more and more fat will stored in your body. Bad diet makes it harder to lose weight. Starving yourself is a bad idea because your metabolism has to function in order to lose weight.

You have to eat the right kind of food when you diet. You need calories to give your body energy. There is a difference between feeling hungry, when your body adjusts to less food and feeling starved because you are not getting enough calories. You need energy so you can burn fat thru physical effort. You can’ exercise when you are about to faint every time you get up from the chair.

Choose wisely next time between diets when you want to lose weight. There is difference between dieting and starvation.
